USA-Spec Ipod, Possisble Battery Drain?

Hey friends. I finally got my USA Spec Ipod Adapter put in my RL. I love it! I noticed that even with the truck off, the Ipod shows as charging. Is this something I should worry about? Am I going to find my Ridgeline dead one day cause I always leave my Ipod plugged in? Thanks for the help!

Re: USA-Spec Ipod, Possisble Battery Drain?

the usa-Spec system stays on for an hour afterward to charge the ipod if necessary. The current demand from the ipod is so low there is no worries about draining the battery

Re: USA-Spec Ipod, Possisble Battery Drain?

The iSimple PXAMG (a similar unit, different brand) stays on all the time and charges the iPOD. I had mine in for over a year before upgrading the HU and I never had battery problems.
