Drivers tail light/blinker help

Need some help guys. I just bought my RL yesterday and this is my first post. I am having problems with my drivers side tail light. Essentially nothing works, it does not turn on with the lights, no brake light and no turn signal. Passenger side works perfectly. I tried swaping bulbs from the pass side and checked the small light fuse under the hood and still nothing. Anyone got and ideas or ever have this problem?

Thanks
Jon

Re: Drivers tail light/blinker help

Do you have an aftermarket hitch wiring adapter?

Also -
Could be a loose ground. I don't recall where it is back there, but look behind the taillight assembly. If not there, it'll be behind the bed panel.

No trailer hitch or plug. I'm thinking it's either a ground or fuse. I noticed it appears I am missing a few fuses one in interior fuse box and several in the secondary fuse box under the hood the cover says there should be a fuse but there is not one. I tried using some of the extras in the box to see if the missing ones were the right fuse but still had no luck. Idk I gave up and called the dealer they are taking a look first thing in the am and giving me a car for the day.

If a fuse were blown or missing, it would affect both sides. The simplest issue would be a bad ground. There could be a loose connector at the tail lamp assembly. A lowere poosibility is a bad turn signal control module. It's not that difficult to pull the tail lamp fixture to check the wires and connectors.

Re: Drivers tail light/blinker help

Not sure what the problem was but the dealer fixed it. Also got them to fix some of the small cosmetic issues they agreed to fix while it was there.
