Thumbs up Replacement Tire Recommendations

At 71,000 miles I am finally going to have to replace my OEM Michelin's on my 2007 RTL. Is there a consensus on a good riding/gas mileage replacement tire. Suggestions appreciated. - Mike

Re: Replacement Tire Recommendations

I agree with the LTX M/S for replacement. Any reason you might want to change?

Re: Replacement Tire Recommendations

Went with the newer M/S2 instead. Suppose to be better and a little taller. I do get a slight rub if turning and hitting bumps or dips.

Re: Replacement Tire Recommendations

I got the Mich Latitude, just because the originals MS rotten with cracks replaced them under warranty with a new MS from sears and 2 years later they starting to crack again.

The stopping power from the Latitudes and how smooth they stop on stop and go traffic is almost like driving a much lighter truck or luxury SUV, no comparison, can't speak much for gas mileage or noise but I am sure they are quieter and I did not notice that as much.
