Rain-X

For those of us that don't have heated mirrors, I have found that treating your mirrors and side windows with Rain-X significantly reduces the amount of frost that accumulates on them. The frost that does accumulate scraps off much easier also.

Supposed to get 12 inches of snow tonight/tomorrow and then the weekend lows are supposed to be in the minus single digits. Yikes!

dang, that stinks.. just think that while you are shoveling out the Ridge, there are plenty of other owners enjoying 80 degrees temps. Gotta love Florida

Plus baseball spring training starts shortly... game on

Back to the subject....I have Rain-X on all windows and mirrors, love that stuff.

Re: Rain-X

I use Rain-x in the showers, we live in a place with hard water. Clean up is easier with rain-x on the walls and shower door and prevents hard water deposit. Just make sure that you don't put any on the floor.

Suprisingly, WD-40 is a much cheaper option for glass shower doors.

Re: Rain-X

Used Rain-X on my windows for years, and about two years ago I began using Rain-X car wax. Seems to keep the paint cleaner and easier to get clean than other waxes or polymers.
