Carputer

I have built my carputer and installed some cameras. Here are pics.
Rear cam comes on when put in reverse or you can flip the switch behind the monitor to turn it on when you want and leave it on.
When you start the truck, it starts the carputer and loads the GPS. Carputer has XP, WiFi, Bluetooth, DVD....
When can press the "S" button on the monitor and select the front cam as long as the truck is not in reverse or the rear cam switch is not on.

Re: Carputer

For your sake, I really hope you waterproofed that box and all your carputer electronics. Since all our RLs seem to leak in the right rear.

I HOPE yours stays dry, but just in case....

Cheers,
George

Re: Carputer

I have an RTS but why are they leaking? I did notice that there is a hole in the floorboard where I ran some cable up into the cab. I resealed the hole but is that where the RTLs are leaking?

So is mine. I would bet most are dry. This is how BS rumors get started. Don't sweat it, breed.
