Squirrel!!!

The funniest thing just happened and I thought I'd share.

I walked into the kitchen and saw an adult squirrel looking in our kitchen window screen. I shewed him away and thought nothing of it. I went outside for about 10 minutes. My wife started screaming , "There's a squirrel in the kitchen!!!" I walked inside the house and saw a squirrel sitting on our bar in the middle of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups my mom sent for my birthday. As soon as he saw me he ran head first into the back glass door. He ran around the back of the house until I cornered him. He was growling at me and flicking his tail. I grabbed my son's Easter bucket and caught the squirrel and threw him outside.

Anyways, my wife said when she came inside the squirrel had a peanut butter cup in his mouth and was heading out the window. Thought it was pretty funny. If only we had the presence of mind to grab a video camera or take a picture.

OMG how funny is that.
Never fails. The most exciting stuff and we don't even think of a camera.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: Squirrel!!!

Funny thing is, after I realized he was after the peanut butter cups, I sat one out on the patio (unwrapped). He came back and got it.

Re: Squirrel!!!

Very funny story. I *so* wish you had video of that!!

That was very nice of you to feed/reward him! Especially after bonking his head on the closed glass door...

you're lucky the little guy didn't bite you, all animals will attack when cornered.

Re: Squirrel!!!

This is not my picture, it was sent to me...

He wanted to bite me, I had on my work gloves. He was making all kinds of noises that I didn't know squirrel could make. I wasn't worried, I have a good healthcare plan
