Talking Honda Paying $$$$$ For Name On Truck...not!!!

I'M curious as to why someone would add more Honda, Ridgeline, H, names and insignias to their vehicle. Isn't there enough on the truck as it is?
There is a big H on the front grill, Honda on the tailgate, along with Ridgeline.
Isn't that enough?
Maybe if Honda was paying all of us for daily advertising it would make sense.
I debadged my entire truck from the front to the back. Nowhere on the exterior of my truck does it advertise what kind of truck it is.
Maybe it's just me, but when I was a kid we dechromed and debadged every vehicle we owned.
My truck now has a nice smooth, svelt custom look to it, and I get a lot of compliments.

I did this with my '99 Accord EX-L V6 and yeah, it looked sweet. I did have more than a few people ask me "was it hit?" grrr, no I removed it!

With the RL, I only removed any dealer badging.

Honda is paying you for having the emblems on it. Otherwise you would have paid 40K for it

Re: Honda Paying $$$$$ For Name On Truck...not!!!

Here's one reason a person (me) would add Honda names or emblems to their truck: PRIDE.

This is our first Honda. It's Honda's first truck. We want the world to know what it is and that we love it.
