Question Honda Logo'd Pinstripe?

I was checking out another Ridgeline in a parking lot. It was silver and had (stock) black pinstripes down the sides. Now what I thought was unusual (at least from mine), is that his pinstripe contained the Honda Logo, just forward of the doors (I think).

First time that I've noticed this. On my Ridgeline, it's just clean pinstripes with no Logo.

What does everybody else's look like? Logo, or no logo, and why the difference?

Thanks!

Re: Honda Logo'd Pinstripe?

I don't think the Ridgeline's come with factory pin-striping, so it all depends on the pin striping person that does it for the dealership. I know there is a guy around here that does the Honda logo, Acura logo, etc. I really like that logo in there, and that will be next on my truck. What color combination should I get on White?

Re: Honda Logo'd Pinstripe?

Hello Hawk, my blue RL came without pinstripes. I had silver striping added shortly after I purchased it. I do not have the Honda Logo, however, I'm quite certain it can be purchased from a dealer.

When I first started shopping, my local dealership had a black RL with dual, thin, tan stripes in the showroom. The Honda logo was placed in a break in the stripes over the rear wheels. Looked good, but was starting to peel off. Salesman said it was caused by customers playing with it. Go figure! I swear I never touched it.

Re: Honda Logo'd Pinstripe?

My dealer threw in the pin stirpes and it contained the Honda logo forward of the door as you described.

For what it's worth, JPA2002, I'd probably try to match the interior. In your case some shade of green. I may even try a thin green strip with a wider contrasting color stripe below it. My local body shop tacked on a couple different color choices to help me decide. I even drove the RL home with all the different combos to show my wife. Looked really tacky there for awhile.

For a double, thin stripe he charged $50 and did it in hardly no time at all.

Re: Honda Logo'd Pinstripe?

Thanks for the advice, I was thinking of an olive green and maybe a tan.

I looked at a black RTS yesterday and it had Gold factory pinstripes. It had a small Honda Logo on the door int he middle of the stripe ====H=====. I told them if I was going to buy it they had to take them off...the stripes are not for me

Re: Honda Logo'd Pinstripe?

There are no factory pin stripes, this is a dealer add-on and they all do it a bit different. I have had two RL's and had the dealer stripes removed on both.

Re: Honda Logo'd Pinstripe?

We have a little Honda "H" jewel button on our pin stripe. Does anyone else have one of these? Our detailer had them.
