Tucker, Mike (Arizona Ridgeliner) and I met for lunch today and had a great time. Great food, great company, not to mention great trucks!

First time I've been able to see an ARE cap in person. It really changes the dynamics of the RL. I think Mike is sold on getting one too!

Tucker had it done in Flagstaff, AZ thru the ARE dealership website locator. It took 2 1/2 hours. I'll let him tell you the cost

but it does look great.

Anyway, we will meet again since we all live within minutes of each other.

A couple more....Mike's green RL and Tucker's, next to each other....gives you the before and after look....

Maybe it's me, but I don't like the look. Like it doesn't flow with the lines of the truck and looks definitely like an added-on aftermarket piece.(?)

Great color Ridge, but I agree, I am sorry but the cap really makes the RL look terrible. It looks like it wants to be a Pilot, but it isnt.

You know, to me that's an awesome part of this truck. You can really make it your own. There are many things I've seen on this forum that I would not do to a Ridgeline, but I can appreciate the individual appeal of each and every mod I've seen. Lowered, raised, capped, covered... whatever. To each his or her own. They all look great.

Kevin, thanks for posting this series of photos to give us all a close look at this cap. It's great having Mike's topless truck right there to show the difference with the same colored truck.

I'm curious how the cap attaches and if it's easy to mount/unmount. Where can I get more info?

That's what I'm thinking. Right now she kind of suffers when we leave her while shopping, etc. The black of the bed get SUPER hot. I bought a white bathroom carpet and it's better but she still gets hot-footed occasionally. The only thing is I'm not sure I like the look and would be curious if/how it affects the gas milage. I tried searching the forum but no luck on additional info

I agree. Heck I know some people who think the ridge is plain old ugly with or without a cap......
