Talking H-Town 'Liners!

Just got in from the Northwest (Oregon) that is, and was wondering if there are any other Houston owners here. Must say I haven't seen much down here but I've only been here a week. I live in the Nasa/Clear Lake area.
Kam.

Re: H-Town 'Liners!

Welcome to Texas, minihummer! Just in time for our hot and humid summer. How do you like the Clear Lake area? I have lived in this area since 1977, and have seen lots of changes over the years. I do not see many R-lines in this area, not enough snow in the winter I guess. Wave if you see me.

Re: H-Town 'Liners!

I should be very easy to spot. No front licence plate and probably the Oregon plate on the back...
I'll look out but I pass the dealer everyday and see a line of em here...

Re: H-Town 'Liners!

I live in Clear Lake area also! I have a silver RTL. You will know it is me because I have a small stamped metal NASA logo on my tailgate (well, as soon as I get it put on this weekend anyway). I also see a black RT at work in our parking lot here every day. I was a die hard Avalanche owner, and though I still think it is the ulitimate utility vehicle, it was just a little too much truck to be driving on a daily basis. This is more fun to drive anyways. I would love to meet someone in the houston area that has the Access tonneau installed so I could take a look at it. I am very interested in it, but scared to get it because of the popping sound people report.

Re: H-Town 'Liners!

Funny how your name is MINIHummer, I always thought of my ridge as a miniHummer. Not too big, or small. Although, I've always like the look of the Hummer for it's wide stance and tough demeanor.

Re: H-Town 'Liners!

Hey there folks.

Got my Ridge bout 3 weeks ago, and love it. I am in the Northwest area, Jersey Village mostly.

I am not a good golf player, but I have been known to whack a sphere once in a while. I much perfer to Mountian Bike, Terry Hershy or Memorial.

I know there is at least one more ridge in my area, I saw another silver on the road yesterday.

Good to meet you fellas.

Hey Andythanh, that is exactly my thought process. I would like to eventually put the 2 or 4 inch lift kit and those lovely HUMMER tires....

Re: H-Town 'Liners!

Hey y'all. I'm a soon-to-be proud owner. I live near downtown.
Texmex1 is a good friend of mine, and it is because of his love for his RL (white RTL) that I started getting interested in these.

Re: H-Town 'Liners!

Being 4 hrs away and have never been to Texas, I would drive to Houston for a meet.
