245 70 r17 will they fit without rubbing?

as the title say im looking to go to something serious and is seems that 245 70 r 17 is the best option. do they fit without rubbing problems or not?

Should fit.

Your not changing much from the stock P24/65r/17

+ .96 in overall dia.
+ .48 in overall width

Hardly worth the effort and expense.

They will definitely fit with a lift. Check out Lowriders red rig at the Truxxx link.

Without, I am not sure. Amleo went with plus sized tires before his lift, I think 255/65/17 but that is even less of a diameter change than the 245/70/17s.

I have my lift waiting in the box for install untill my current tires wear out (man, it is hard to be patient). Then I am gonna try to go with a 265/65/17. I would like the General Grabber AT2 if they ever release that size like they claim they are. They look just like BFG A/Ts. Otherwise I may go with the Toyos All-Terrains like several folks have done here.

Dont even bother looking for 245/75/17s. That is a dually tire (load Range E) and it will beat you to death on the road.

try the cooper discover st they look just like the bfg a/t and should fit with the 245/70/17 size they have.
