Should fit. Your not changing much from the stock P24/65r/17 + .96 in overall dia. + .48 in overall width Hardly worth the effort and expense. Go here and plug in your figures: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos |

Re: 245 70 r17 will they fit without rubbing?
They will definitely fit with a lift. Check out Lowriders red rig at the Truxxx link.
http://truxxx.com/photo/thumbnails.php?album=8 Without, I am not sure. Amleo went with plus sized tires before his lift, I think 255/65/17 but that is even less of a diameter change than the 245/70/17s. I have my lift waiting in the box for install untill my current tires wear out (man, it is hard to be patient). Then I am gonna try to go with a 265/65/17. I would like the General Grabber AT2 if they ever release that size like they claim they are. They look just like BFG A/Ts. Otherwise I may go with the Toyos All-Terrains like several folks have done here. Dont even bother looking for 245/75/17s. That is a dually tire (load Range E) and it will beat you to death on the road. |
