Re: Sitting on 22's post your pics...

Handling difference is what you would expect.....rougher ride in exchange for improved grip. Obviously, I did it for the look. I always upgrade the the tires & wheels and the sound system when I buy a new "ride".

As far as the need for wheel locks.....my truck is insured and protected by Smith & Wesson. And my next door neighbor is a Seargant in the local PD.

Honestly the only decent looking set of rims were on DREW's ride, ,although personally I don't understand the point of lowering a 4wd truck. I will say his truck looks badass. Too bad there's no forced induction for the ridgeline yet b/c his would be a prime candidate for boost To each his own. The rest are just ghetto as hell. Chrome=uber gay. I guess since most of you guys don't have to deal w/ snow, you can rock low profile tires year round.

Just personal preference...lowering does help the overall appearance. Trust me I was looking into some low boost (6psi) such as the Comptech supercharger but those guys went out of business. Not a real real real big fan of low profile tires (35 series) but I did change out the wheels for the winter with some 20in wheels (powdered coated black on black) and larger profile tires (45 series).

That's one thing I hate about owning a ridgeline....the lack of aftermarket parts. I'd love to boost that motor and make some torque, but honestly, I've never had any luck w/ Comptech parts anyways. Jackson racing needs to put out one of their rotrex s/c kits for the ridgeline. Props on your ride though Drew. Definatley one of the best looking RL's i've seen. I've contemplated the black w/ polished lip look but I don't see any point in going w/ a larger wheel b/c I take the truck off road quite a bit. I'm think the Truxxx lift kit w/ some nice 18s and beefy tires should do the trick.
