I've contemplated the black w/ polished lip look but I don't see any point in going w/ a larger wheel b/c I take the truck off road quite a bit. I'm think the Truxxx lift kit w/ some nice 18s and beefy tires should do the trick.
I could have gone with some larger profile tires but since the RL was lowered 2in I am kinda limited. Anything larger than a 45 series profile tire will rub. Now, if the RL was not lowered I could have gone with bigger profile tires.

Here's my current winter setup if you have not seen already...

20x8.5in Privat Zentralle custom powdered coated black with 275/45R20 Cooper Zeon LTZ All-Terrain tires and the final pic is my street setup.

Re: Sitting on 22's post your pics...

Mine is rolling on Epic Sting's with Kumho 265/35x22 tires. Not my choice but what it came with when I bought it. I'll be posting more and hopefully better pictures later. This one shows the truck with the airbags riding just above the tires. Driverable at very low speeds, but no bumps. I usually drive it with the bags pumped up to around 120 PSI. The max is 150 and the lowest before it starts rubbing is 90.

The wheels look nice with the truck, but I don't care for 22's and I definately don't go for a lot of chrome. I'm looking for a nice set of 20's, black and chrome, something simple and clean in keeping with the lines of the truck to replace them, something also a little narrower. These wheels and tires are so wide the barely fit under the wheelwells.

Drew....Love the look of your truck, with both the summer and winter setup. Gotta love all black. That's how I set up my 98 Expedition Lighting (Yes, Lightning, homemade) and my daughters (now mine, minus the window stickers) little "fast and furious" 94 civic.

mailos truck on page one(silver with axis 22s) does not appear to be lowered. I am only taking a guess based on the amount of open space in the wheel well compared to drews truck which we know is lowered, and has the same size wheels.

Not the RL...your choice in ghetto wheels.

Don't really like your paint job either...but I don't care, as long as you're happy with it.

DREW you have a awesome set up. Are those winter tires suitable for spirited driving as well as off road?

What is a ghetto wheel?

And not that your opinion matters a lot, but what don't you like about my paint job.....and thanks for not caring, and being content that I'm happy with it.
