New tires and lift kit

I plan on getting the truxx 2'' lift kit with the BFGoodRich All Terrain K0 tires (26570r17)mounted. After reading up on this thread, I noticed a lot of people had rubbing issues. I was wondering if getting wheel spacers would solve the problem?

I have the SkyJacker lift on my RTS and was planning going with the same size BFG tires as you are ... However, I am also going with a wider wheel from American racing. (Black Crush) I didn't know that people were having problems with rubbing ... I guess I need to do more research, some people say this tire rubs, others are saying they don't....

Definitely do not do wheel spacers. The normal offset is as god as you are gonna get. You will definitely need to trim or remove the mudflaps, and possibley trim some of the pinch weld. Also, I believe those are load range E tires, so be prepared for some extra stiffness in your ride. But if you keep them rotated properly they should last you a loooong time.

If you like the look of those tires, but aren't dedicated enough to plunk that much cash on them to try them out, the General Grabber AT2s come in that size and have a 50K mile warranty at half the price. They look almost identical. Good reviews on tirerack.com.
