I agree, good luck to you, But I hate Goodyear tires, I had a set of the trackers, seemed like they were out of round always, I went through 6 Goodyear trackers before I fianlly went to a BFG A/T

I love the stock Michelin, I will probably keep them till they wear out too

It's important to remember that the limiting factor in tire size is the diameter. The rubbing issue is horizontal, not vertical, so the lift doesn't really change tire size. (I have one)

Stay under 31" in diameter. You can also use tire size as a way to adjust you speedometer to read correctly. Example: if you the speedo says 60mph and you are really going 58mph, that represents about a 3.5% error. Stock tires are 700 rev. per mile, so by going 3.5% less, or 677 rev. per mile, you can trick your speedometer into being "dead on." So shop by revs per mile and diameter. This is how I fine tuned my speedometer/odometer. I'm running Goodyear Wrangler SA's 245/70/17, 30.6" dia. 684 revs per mile (corrected a 2.5% error)

Keep in mind that this size tire is not rated for our rims which are 7.5" wide. Although they will mount up, not all tire places will do it. When I ordered mine from the local STS, the first thing the guy asked was if I had original wheels because if I did than he refused to mount them. Luckily I had Acura wheels which are 8" wide
