OEM Chrome Exchange

For anyone interested - I Just bought a set of OEM rims for my 2007 RL from OEMRIMS, INC of Anaheim on Ebay for $515 exchange. $140 (CA to AZ) shipping (both ways) and $60 to mount at the local Firestone store. They look great - total cost for the exchange (used my tires) was $715 - no tax - Fast shipping - 2 days and you send your old rims back in the box (prepaid) the new ones came in.

Thanks for the post! Wondered how good those guys were......been tempted. I'm tired of these plastic skins........had them on long enough to realize chrome will look good on the green.

Here are a couple of pic's. I am an "old guy" and don't want to get too fancy but was tired of the old plain rims. The exchange offers a reasonably priced alternative and you don't have to figure out what to do with the old rims. Although I would like to have kept one for a full size spare as I tow my Harley to Arizona for the winter.

How do those skins hold up. I'm switching back to my stock silver rims while saving up for another set of custom wheels and was thinking about getting a set of skins.

rederic60, nice looking wheels.

Re: OEM Chrome Exchange

Rusty, the skins hold up fine unless of course, you have to remove them! I noticed a few nicks where the dealer had to remove/replace them to rotate tires. They REALLY clip on! I have spares (a good idea), but refuse to buy more for fear of spending as much on the skins as on a good set of wheels

Re: OEM Chrome Exchange

What is the easiest-recommended way to remove the skins?
