TPMS stem unit

I'm looking to get some alloy wheels, and am looking for a part number for the stem unit for the TPMS sensor. I'm going from steel to aluminum, and the steel wheel stems are too long for the new wheels. I did a search and found a part number for the enitre sensor, but not the stem unit. Thanks in advance.

Re: TPMS stem unit

I ran that number and it was for the whole sensor. Is that not right? If not, is there a number just for the stem unit, Honda recommends changing the stem unit with the washer (seal) if the sensor is changed or tires are changed, so there must be a number just for the stem unit that includes the washer (seal).

Re: TPMS stem unit

This is the part number for the whole assembly according to an online Honda parts website:
06421-S3V-A04 SENSOR ASSY., TPMS 4 2007 RIDGELINE $44.78

This is the valve stem:
06422-S3V-A03 VALVE ASSY., TPMS 4 2007 RIDGELINE $11.53

The part numbers are similar but there is a difference, I hope this helps...

Re: TPMS stem unit

Here is the whole wheel assembly. Maybe if you search on the same site and find what you're looking for. I just replaced the stem on my RTS.

Re: TPMS stem unit

Thanks guys. I assume since you purchased this for an RTS, it is for the alloy wheels and not the long metal one for the RT steel wheels.

Someone else can help me out here, but from what I remember I think you may have it reversed. I think the RT tire stems are too short and the Alloy Wheel stems are longer? Reason I say that is because I'm pretty sure I've read about the guys with the RT Steel Wheels going to aftermarket alloy wheels just needed to replace the stems with longer ones.

Re: TPMS stem unit

The ones I now have are about 1 1/4 inch long from the set nut that holds the sensor onto the wheel. If I put them on the wheels I have in mind, the stem would stick out past the edge of the rims. Isn't the stem for the alloy wheels silver or chrome also?

Alloy ones are shorter than the steel ones.
