Re: What is your tire normal pressure?
Don't you really need a purge valve to use nitrogen?

Re: What is your tire normal pressure?
I have not seen the equipment first hand... But I would think the equipment doing the filling would pump purge...The tire valve already allows "air" flow in both directions...Someone that wasted his or her money please ring in on this...

Re: What is your tire normal pressure?
Question!
Honda says to put 32psi in the tires, the tires say max 51psi. Why would you not go by the tire rating instead of Honda? BTW I believe I read somewhere on my Ridge that the max pressure is 60psi. Alt |

Re: What is your tire normal pressure?
I just added some air. My "Slime" (accessory powered pump) says 40 lbs, the bicycle pump says 35 lbs, and the trusty plastic rod popping out of the chrome pen says 32 lbs.
I have got to get a trustworthy gauge! For now the bike pump is my reality check. A few more thoughts, 1. Don't the tires say max pressure is 35 lbs? 2. My mileage hasn't been up to 20 mpg yet, less than 2400 miles on the clock. 3. Hope the pressure increase helps. 4. I think some dealers like to demo vehicles with soft tires, the ride is softer, non-truck like. 5. Check your pressure sooner than I did. |
