How do you like that style? I am considering that style in 17's but in chrome (AR-629). Chrome wheels just will work better for my chrome accents.

I also like AR-619:

Here is the complete listing that American Racing says will fit:

Let it be noted: The ride changes a little bit with the different offset and wider wheels..A little rougher and vibrations over 45 mph..Had the allignment checked..It rides more like a truck so I am used to it..But it sure looks a lot better..Boys and their Toys..

Maybe you need to look into a set of concentric rings. Mine rides great. No vibration at all. I don't really notice any difference between my Niche's and my OEM wheels.

I had to a search on "hub centric rings" to see what they are or do. For the uneducated, like myself:

I've noticed a change in ride too. It's much more sensitive to the road surface. On a smooth road, no problems but if there are any groove or what not, I can feel a little vibration. Make sure you get a dynamic balance for the tires instead of static. That made a WORLD of difference for me. The hubcentric rings helped but not as much as the balance did.

Re: black rims??

what kind of balance is that..My weights are on the inside because of the wheels..last balance before my new wheels the dealer balanced the wheels and it was unbelievable ride..maybe I will go back to dealer for balancing..I think your right because Tire Kingdom balanced my new wheels because the dealer in florida refused to install my aftermarket wheels..

Re: black rims??

I had mine done at Les Schwab. Their machine had two settings, static and dynamic. In static mode, the weights are either placed on the inside of the rim or the outside. They used the inside of course so they wouldn't show. Each rim needed about .25-1.25 oz to balance. They were suprised by this and said most rims take much more. After the balance, I had vibration in the steering wheel at freeway speeds.

On the dynamic balance mode, the machine would allow you 3 places to place weights...inside, outside, and middle. We used the inside and middle positions. This time, each wheel needed 1.5 - 3 oz to balance. He would balance the middle first and then go to the inside. Lots of times, adding weight to the inside thru out the middle balance. It took a while to get all the wheels complete balanced with the 2 weight positions but the result was a smooth ride at any speed.

Talking Re: black rims??

I would like to see some pics of ALL black wheels on a Ridge. ALL black, with no chrome or polished aluminum around the outside edge.
