black rims??

im looking into black rims for my ridgeline. im lookin at black 22s.. does anyone have black rims on theirs.. lookin for pics, ideas pointers....... thanks

Hi honda_man, I had PhotoPainted this motif about seven months ago and still have the hideous stockers mounted on my Ridge cause I’ve been swamped with the billet door sill production. I am also planning to yank the disks and drill and slot them as well as paint the stock calipers bright azz red. Someday!!!

These are what I have on mine. I got them from a shop in my home town. They are BSA 342's, kind of import racer or Euro, but I like them.

Thanks for the comps guys, I'm really glad I went with the black, haven't seen another like it on the street.

I'll see if I can't update the profile here shortly. R of the month would be cool .

honda_man - let me know if you want any info on running 22's or any of the other specs. I had said in an earlier post that I had scrapped with them, but after another couple of months riding on them, I know it was something other that the tire making that noise. These things ride great. No regrets at all.

5S I wouldn't go drilling your stock rotors...that could lead to an exploding rotor (not pretty). Good aftermarket rotors are usually cast with the holes. As for slotting, that should be ok. But to be on the safe side, I would just buy new rotors.

Wow, I had no idea these disks could explode! I have cross drilled and slotted a million disks on the CNC without a single one coming apart. Are the disks on the Ridgeline different in their construction and or material. I had assumed they are gray cast iron like everyone else’s.
