Locking LugNut Key

Just thought I'd put this out there so you can check if you haven't already. I got a blowout last Thursday while driving down I-95 South and when I pulled all the equipment out to put the spare on I noticed I didn't have a Key for the Locking Lugnut. My dealer forgot to leave this important piece in the truck before selling it to me.

It wasn't much of a problem, I was towed to my house since this was 2am, the next day I ran to the dealer, told them my situation and they were able to give me a key.

I thought I'd post this so you can check and make sure your key is in your Ridgeline, it's something I never thought about until I needed it.

Take Care ya'll

Ski

Re: Locking LugNut Key

Were these locking lug nuts an accessory ?
This key is not on the buyers checklist and I do not recall anyone mentioning this feature before. Please clarity. Thanks.

No warning at all, I think I ran something over to be honest, truck was riding smooth and then BOOM all of a sudden the truck felt sluggish, it never got squirly on me. The TPMS showed up directly after the Blowout and stayed on the entire time (1 day) that I had the spare on.

My dealer told me it was an accessory that they made standard, I guess how some dealers make the mudflaps standard, mine choose to go with the locking lugnuts. Anyhow, when they get the trucks in they put them on right away and instead of leaving the extra lugnuts and the key in the truck with the manuals they put them in a storage room making the sales folks responsible for getting it to the customer at time of purchase. According to the lady I spoke with, I'm one of many in a few month span that bought from there that didn't recieve it.
