Question hunting for wheels

hey guys and gals i really don't belong here i guess, yet that is, I am getting prepared to purchase a new ridgline, and as I am going to purchase a new car for the first time, I want it to be exactly what I want, I think the ridgelines stock look well kinda girly, and I am going to beef it up a bit with some custom stuff and I am in the market for some wheels to go with Kumho MT KL71 20's and some mean looking wheels if anyone has a site or knows of anywhere that I could go to look at what the wheel/tire combos would look like I would appreciate it, and any reviews that people have for larger wheel/tire combos. I am still looking through the posts as this is my first day, any info. would be appreciated

thanks

Take a look through the sticky at the top of this page. A lot of info and pics in there.

Re: hunting for wheels

Hi cnewby;

Im going with a set of 22x9.5's from ZYOXX wheels, the tires are gonnna be the Falken ST/Z O4's 265x40x22. I think its better if you buy youre wheels from a dealer who has wheel fittment/appication software, this way he can cross check your vehicle to the wheels and tires you want, on the computer as far as fittment and vehicle weight distribution to each wheel. Heres the link to the wheels im getting.

http://zyoxxwheels.com/wheels/zx4.php

I called the company, because it doesnt specify 22's for front wheel drive. What they do is drill the lug pattern for the ridgeline once they are ordered. I like the black, kinda want to stay away from the chrome look.

Re: hunting for wheels

I'm hunting for a specific set of wheels. I want the ones that are on the truck in the picture I'm attaching. I found this picture on another site, the poster said it was from "another site". I'm hoping it originated here. I've been searching the forums for pictures of this truck, hoping to find the owner to ask what these wheels are!

The wheels look like Honda Pilot wheels.

Maybe that's one of the reasons I like them so much?

I don't know, but when I saw them I just knew that this was the look that I'm after. They can't be actual Pilot wheels though, because they are Dubs.

Re: hunting for wheels

The owner of the above RL said those are TSW Zandvoorts, tires size 265-50-20. I got the same sized wheels and tires and they look and ride great. Tires are Falken Ziex St/Z-04s.

Thanks for the info! I've been searching for that for so long! I wish I'd posted asking about it sooner!
