Full Size Spare "Recommended" When Towing
Hello all. My first post. After what I thought was a pretty good job of researching my best choice for towing our new small travel trailer, I settled on a new Ridgeline RTS. The sales literature talks about the Ridgeline being all set for towing but for the dealer install of a hitch and harness. Did that. Got to reading my owners manual and come to find out that it ain't so. Honda also "recommends" a full size wheel and tire when towing; cost from my dealer, including mounting: $400.00!!!
Sooo, now I'm looking for a more economical source. Anyone between Oregon and Texas (I'm traveling to Texas and back in April) with a full-size, factory spec., tire for sale, I'm in the market. I'd appreciate hearing from you. Joemack

ebay is usually a good resource for these, although sometimes it can be hard to find a single rim and tire.
