Thanks buddy! The Black on black was the original motif or style I've wanted to follow ever since I got the truck so I'm hoping to continue this theme inside as well. I have two sets of the new style billet door sills being "Black Chromed" and "Black Wrinkled Powder-Coated" as we speak from a new supplier and will post photos if they turn out looking the way I want. I'm searching for that "bad-boy" Harley look with the Wrinkle finish as I have done on parts for my biker buddies. I will place them back into the CNC Machine and engrave them after the new surface treatment, then re-shoot the clear over the finished product. Wish me luck!

BTW, How are your new door sills holding up to daily use???

The sills look as good as the day you made them. I don't ever step in that area to enter/leave the truck. I get lots of complements on them.

I'll tell you what-- everytime I look at your wheels, I want to get a set and have them powder coated white to match my truck. That chrome lip and gloss white would look .

Especially cool, cause nobody’s got a set like that!!!! Full-on custom! I tried to talk my son into powder-coating his Volks Racing centers the same color as his car but he just couldn’t wait!! Ya gotta do this man! It would make your Ridge more “one-off” than it already is!

Yeah, he got 19 inch Volks Racing wheels for his new Si and I got my 20 inch five spokes in shiny black. We’ll take more photos when the sun comes up. Gotta unload the stockers from the back of the Ridgeline now….
Awesome look!! What did you do about your tire pressure sensors TPMS??

Thanks buddy. The guys at Wheel-Warehouse took my TPMS units out of the stock wheels and re-installed them with the new hardware I provided and remounted the stock wheels with standard valve stems. So my new full size spare now has a regular stem.

What new hardware are you talking about?
Did the sensors need some kind of adapters to fit?

Someone on the ROC told me to replace the nut and crush washers when moving the units from the stock 17"Ø wheels to the new 20"Ø wheels. I really didn't do any further research as to the importance however I change the washers on the oil plugs during oil changes on both my trucks and motorcycles. Kinda anal I guess. You may find it unnecessary though.

Thanks Directman and welcome to the club! I'm not sure if this setup would last long on the pot holes of Chi-Town! My grandma lived on the "Loop" and driving thru the streets the last time I was there was kinda like a slalom course. Have the roads improved since then?

Wink Re: I'm in the 20" inch club too!!

The Chicago roads are still as bad as ever. Now with spring coming the pothole repair teams are out in force messing up traffic and getting cold patch on my RL. The patches never last long but city workers have to make a living also.

Turtle Wax makes this stuff called Bug-N-Tar remover and is removes that black gewwy poop really great. However, you have to re-wax as I think it removes car wax as well. ROC-on buddy
