Re: I'm in the 20" inch club too!!

I'd really like to see the pictures as I'm planning on 275's. My wheels have a 35mm offset so I'm hoping nothing rubs but I'd like to see how you fixed it.

Re: I'm in the 20" inch club too!!

After waiting countless weeks w/o show for Kyowa 517's like 5S Dude's magnificent ride, I settled for the Foose Speedster II's in black with polished stainless steel rims. These come in a 20'' X 8.5'' diameter, 5 X 120 mm bolt pattern & 45 mm offset with 72.69 mm to 64.1 mm hubcentric rings wearing Toyo Proxes S/T 255/50R20.

Ron, you did it again.....you're still unique!!

Re: I'm in the 20" inch club too!!

Hi Ron!
Since you seem to have done extensive research on 20" rims, i just thought I'd try get your opinion on this.

I'm thinking about purchasing from Tire Rack the ASA AR1 Black with Chrome Lip 20x9 (shown below) together with the Yokohama Parada Spec-X 255/45VR20 and will have them add on the TPMS so the sets will ship mounted & balanced. According to the rep, the offset is 40mm. My other tire option is the Goodyear Eagle RS-A. I'd appreciate yours or anyone's input to help me decide. Thanks in advance!

Believe me rasr, I'm no expert in anything! I do enjoy reading up on these types of things however. The ASA AR1 rims look great as MGUZMAN and C25A1guy run simular wheels and I've seen them up close and personal. I can tell you they really look great on thier RL's. The Yokohama tires should be a good combination too I hope the 40mm offset doesn't cause any rubbing. I've read recently that some types of GOODYEAR tires from China are not very round however I have not heard this concerning their RS-A tires.

ROC-On!

Re: I'm in the 20" inch club too!!

Thanks Ron! Tire Rack told me they guarantee that there will be no rubbing with the 40mm offset. I just hope it's true! I'm hoping to have the new wheels on in time for the Cal-ROC meet (hopefully i can get time off from work). Take care...
