Re: lowered ridge

I wish you could tell where you got your information about the suspension. It is nowhere even close to the measurements that bigtars and I got when we lowered my Ridge.Believe me when I tell you that it rides better and handles better.I own it-I drive it-I know about it.I did not question his use of scales to set up the springs because he knows exactly what he is doing.I will ask when I see him.We lowered mine 2 1/2 inches but he did lower his over 3 inches with his own springs. The man is a true craftsman that is well known around here.Just for the record,I hauled about 600 lbs.of brick from Home Depot today-without bottoming out at all. That tells me that something in the spring compression area is working correctly.Could it be possible for you to have purchased(or was sent)the wrong spring set? Take care.

Re: lowered ridge

Sorry for the delay.I called bigs house but his wife said he just left to go racing down in Tennesse somewhere. I had to look for the paperwork for the springs. The fronts were 17" and the rears were 12".I do not know the spring rate. I do not know much about these things. That is the reason that I pay to have it done.

hey thats no Problem!

it looks way different from the Springs what i got. 12" is 305mm and the Springs from Springtech was aprox. 170mm... Thats a huge different.

Your springs looking longer than Stock...

I will make some Pics of the Springs on Monday, and wen can compare these with yours...

Re: lowered ridge

i just measured the Spring Tech Springs:

Front are 330mm = 13inch
Rear are 225mm = 8,85inch

the minimum length for the rear Spring have should be at least 260mm to have enough Preload. And the Springtechs are 35mm to short.

The Fronts Springs are good.

lowering on front was 2inch on rear 2 3/4 inch

yes and no. they are under belltech now which technically is still KW, only that belltech holds the truck line for KW. The variant 3 coilovers with the rear arm does not have an msrp yet its TBA. Quite poss. by next week. group buy shold be min of ten this way, better price deduction. I will start list once I get msrp.

Re: lowered ridge

Awesome, thanks for the update. Count me in if the price is somewhat reasonable.
