Re: lowering ridge - bad experience

LOL, a "real" racing coilover kit is going to start at least 2x this kit's cost just to get in at the bottom rung, it goes up much higher from there

the cost of this kit is pretty much the going rate for a quality street coilover setup, there's no doubt that there's cheaper out there and I'd venture that most of the people here aren't up for this level of sophistication, dropping your ride height with shorter springs is as simple as it gets but comes at the expense of wheel travel and a multitude of other issues that aren't worth my time debating ...

Re: lowering ridge - bad experience

Has anyone tried the H&R springs? I'm only looking for a slight lowering of the truck. They show it to be 1.2F and 1.3R. According to their web site, they design their truck springs to have pre-load and be the appropriate length.

And how about the Eibach set up? Their site doesn't list how much it lowers the truck. I do have past experience with Eibach's and think they make a good product.

I Used The Sprint Springs And Had To Add The Rear Camber Kit, Other Than That It Came Down 2" Looks Great And Rides As Good As The Stock Height, Aligned Perfectly After The Camber Kit Was Installed In The Rear.

I Am 51 And Did Not Want To Go Any Lower Than 2" For Fear Of Creating Other Issues.

Both H&R and Eibach are still R&D their springs... but for sure H&R should have released their springs for the Ridgeline by now. Just go to their site and get the 1-800 and give them a call. Don't rely on these shops and online retailers that show the springs are readily available when they are not. They just want your money then turn around and say the springs are NOT IN STOCK.

Eibach stated the springs will be approx. the same drop as H&R.

Re: lowering ridge - bad experience

I still can't find anyone who has actually used the H&R. I'm curious if the rear camber will be as big of an issue as reported with the Spirit springs. The H&R only drop it about half of the Spirits.

Also, who is selling the KW/Belltech coilovers? I can find them in the belltech catalog, but not for sale anywhere.
