2007 Acura MDX Sport wheels + tires!

2007 Acura MDX Sport wheels + tires. BRAND NEW take-offs purchased directly from the Acura dealer. Wheels have Acura's new bright-sparkle silver finish (beautiful). Tires are brand new 255-55-R18 Michelins and come with the Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS).

These wheels are very hard to find because they only come with the 2007 Sport package, you cannot purchase these wheels separately from Acura. I luckily found a take-off set from an Acura dealer.

SO WHY AM I SELLING THEM? I bought them for our 2006 MDX, but before they even arrived at our home, we decided to get a 2007 MDX Sport. I paid over 2 grand for these wheels and never touched 'em (except for taking one out for pics), so my loss is your gain. I'm asking $1,495.

They are 18" wheels with a 5x120 bolt pattern, which is obviously the Ridgeline bolt pattern as well. I bought adapters from a local wheel shop to fit our '06 MDX, but you won't be needing them. As many of you know, the Acura emblem can easily pop off and be replaced with a Honda emblem.

Local pickup is preferred (Orange County, CA), but I'm willing to ship to anywhere in the continental U.S. at buyer's expense. Here's a great chance to buy a new beautiful set of factory-spec wheels/tires for your truck.

Please contact me at john34schu@yahoo.com. Thanks, John

According to the tire calculator, the MDX tires are 0.5 inch too short in overall hieght. That's is enough to throw off ABS or VSA calibration. The best 18" tire size match is 265/55-18.

Re: 2007 Acura MDX Sport wheels + tires!

Arteegee, using my tape measure, the overall height is roughly 29.25". Of course it was a little difficult accounting for the curve of the tire.

As for tire fitment on the Ridgeline, Tirerack.com actually recommends the 245/60/R18 tire for 18" wheels, of which the selection is very poor (Michelin doesn't make a tire for this size). Either way, you'd have to go 255/55/R18 or 265/55/R18.

I've owned numerous sets of wheels in my lifetime and sometimes I go slightly larger and sometimes it may be slightly smaller, so a quarter of an inch or so is not going to throw your vehicle's calibration settings out of whack. Granted if you went with 22's and increased overall diameter by 1.5"+, then you'd experience some differences.

Let me know if interested...thanks, John

That was my quick calculation as well.

Re: 2007 Acura MDX Sport wheels + tires!

I've raced cars with ABS for years and I can assure you that small difference in diameter won't throw anything off, today's systems are much more sophisticated than that, the only thing that will be off is a slight speedometer error
