*** SOLD *** FS: New Factory Michelin Tires

I just bought an 07 RTL and I want to put different tires on it. The tires I have are the stock Michelin LTX with maybe 200 miles on them. PM me if you're interested. I live just south of Jacksonville, Florida. Local pickup or I will ship if needed. Thanks

I don't think you can improve on the RTL's stock tire. I am extremely pleased with mine. Over two years and drives as good as the first day. No alignment, no balance, no rotation, and no air added.

no rotation? DUDE! The tires will last many times longer with rotation.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've added air either. It has been checked often though.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Drives tooooooo good to mess with it. I never have rotated tires on a Honda vehicle.

Re: FS: New Factory Michelin Tires

I have to side with 25year on this one.

I never rotate the tires on any vehicle I have owned. The Michelins gave me I believe 67,000 miles before I changed them out, and they were all pretty evenly worn. I really wouldnt want tires on any of my vehicles much past the mileage I changed mine out at.

The way I see it, the RL is engineered to tell me when to change oil and when a tire is low. So far I do not have any reason to not trust the system. BTW, before I head to St Louis if will check the tires.

Re: FS: New Factory Michelin Tires

Sorry it took me so long to get back. I posted the original message from work this afternoon.

I was figuring that each tire cost around $150 new, so I'd sell them for $100 each. That seems fair as they are basically new tires I've had for about a week.

As to why I'm selling them, it's just personal preference. I've had nothing but great experience with Michelin tires, I just want a different style.

I've been answering private mail on these, so first come first served.

Thanks!

Locally these sell for $176 plus tax. Tirerack has them for $167 plus shipping. In the end it's a savings of over $200.
