This may change when the first major influx of Ridgelines hits the used market. But right now, the first ones are coming in off lease & most of those are low mileage enough to still be selling for pretty good price points. Right now, a new Civic coupe sells for less than the price of a used 2006 Ridgeline...
Also don't forget Honda's crappy reputation for weak automatics.

Re: JET ECU upgrade initial drive

Honda has sold over 100,000 RL's far more than ford ever sold of the lightening and far more than all nsx/s2000/del sol's put together. And it's my belief the honda AWD is more than capable it's just not meant to deal with copious extra hp in a drag race situation.

"Hey I'm just checking to see if you are the Rideline owner who was tailing me on ******* Road toda.

If it was you, nice meeting you."

"Well after being tailed so ferociously by a big 4x4 truck I had to find out more.

I'd say you really pushed me hard yesterday. I was planning on having a relaxed spirited drive until you showed up, haha.

Did I even give you a good chase or could you have easily passed me if you wanted? Were you gaining on me in the straights at all? Or was it all in the corners where I was braking early and had to downshift often from 3rd to 2nd.

My WRX has stock struts and springs, with the only suspension mods being front and rear swaybars. The only power mods are a catback exhaust (which adds almost zero horsepower to the wheels), and the only drivetrain mod is a lightweight flywheel. My tires aren't the greatest, BFGoodrich G-force sports (205 width).

So yeah, my car is lacking in the suspension department. But still, my car weighs a little more than half a ton less than yours and my power to weight ratio is therefore much better.

Ha, well sorry for the long message but I was seriously humbled yesterday. Just trying to find the answers as to why."

this was an actual PM I got by a user who signed up apparently just to get in touch with me so dont believe the hype about WRX's. the Sti and EVO owners arent this gracious

I think you should do some reading & perhaps talk to Hondata about a real reflash.

Reason I question the Jet ECU reflash:
