Re: ecu

There are some places that claim they re-flash your ECU? Do they really do anything? I'm not a believer.

I believe there are some people who think they had their ECU re-flashed. The power of persuasion is strong.

The other side of the coin is that if you want to send me your ECU with a check for $300 and I'll ship your ECU back to you the next day. You might even turn a better 1/4 mile time... maybe not, but I guarantee I'd cash the check!

I think Alexander got his ECU done at Jet Performance Products. Send him a PM and find out what he thinks of it.

Re: ecu

As far as I know, Jet Performance Products is the only one that does (or so it claims) ECU re-flush for RL.

Re: ecu

Yeah they do and you can tell a difference, I need to figure a way to keep my front end from rising on hard accel no but I can tell a difference, if you have spend anytime with your truck and have driven it from soft to hard through all shift you will notice a difference but I would add that I went in a certain pattern I did the AFE Intake drove it like that for a while then I did the Magna Flow muffler drove it like that for a while then I did the ECU reflash after meeting Alex at the Yorba Linda Ridge meet he convinced me to get it done to get the max out of what I had already done. To me I feel the difference because I put my truck through the test from new to now. But Alex is more knowledgeable on the technical side of it.

I would do a before and after dyno check if getting the ecu flashed.

Couldnt get one but Alex actually had one done and I have pretty much the same set up engine wise as him, I can only assume that since I've done the same his number are close to mine.
