Champion makes the oil filter, the same company that makes the Mobil1 oil filter. I don't know about their oil, but I'm pretty sure it has been mentioned here before.

I use 5w30 Mobil 1 Synthetic and the Honda/Filtech 15400-PLM-A01 filter (while they still exist)

The only other filter I will use. Also 5w30 M1 if I can't get RP.

yeah yeah, I've heard things about Fram, so that's why I don't usually buy them....but then again I am not buying the regular cheapest one either.

Supertech is the Wal-mart brand right? I think I will stick with my Purolators if I can.

Re: What is your engine oil?

I use 5w-30 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic with SuperTech oil Filter. I follow the MM and sometimes go over, knowing that i've gone over 10K on oil change before I had the ridge using Mobil 1 full Synthetic. Prior to owning my Ridge, I've owned a 2001 MBenz E320 with its 10K interval oil change using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic from brand new till i traded in for my RL. Never had a problem.

Trust you RL's MM and follow it like others have said, and you shouldn't have any problem and document all your oil changes done on your own or outside of honda.

Re: What is your engine oil?

Running Honda branded (Mobil1, apparently) synthetic in my 08' RTX. Haven't noticed any real diff so far, but it's all about doing whatever I can to make sure it lasts...

It runs 6 qts of oil, I just go to Costco and buy the box of 6 qts. if i don't have time to drive to the nearest dealer and exchange for another Mercedes as a loaner. To have an oil change.
