What is your engine oil?
Right now, I am using conventional oil. My truck has reached 18K already.No problem yet. They said that synthetic oil is better. Is it true?

07 RTX is correct regarding the many oil related threads on this forum. The search tool is our friend.
To answer the OP's question; I use Mobile 1 5w-20 Synthetic and I follow the MM (Maintenance Minder) to the "T".

I am thinking maybe Peanut oil, It is expensive so it has to be good,, and it make's french fries crispy!!!!! lolololololol Dave

5W-20 Castrol GTX here. I don't think Castrol makes a full synthetic, but my service manager recommended Castrol many Hondas ago & it just stuck.

In the Ridgeline on the last oil change I had the Honda Dealer put in the Mobil 1 synthetic. So that oil change was the 2nd one on the Ridgeline the 1st was free. It is now do for the 3rd oil change going by the MM with a little over 18,000 miles. I will wait a few weeks more to get it changed. It will be getting closer to the time of the National ROC/EOC MEET in Ohio. When I get back from that it will be going to South Carolina that same week. My Acura was at the Dealership last week & while it was there I had them do the oil change on it. Acura had some special on Mobil 1 synthetic so they put in Mobil 1 5w30. I have had an independent shop put in my own Mobil 1 synthetic the last 5years in the car.

I also use Mobil 1... The engine starts turns over much easier, especially during the really cold winter months... I don't think Lattamet, that you need that cold weather protection....
