I think it would work but not the gains people expect we'll have to wait and see on the specs

How quick is Doug at answering emails? I sent an email as suggested, no response. I'm curious as to the intended timeframe for this experiment.

Let me see.... borrow somebody else's truck for a week... assume it is representative of all Ridgeline trucks, tweak a few parameters, and claim to have made an improvement for everyone who owns a maybe like vehicle.

This is legal. Caveat Emptor rules.

Hondata eh? There was a time I was thinking of trading in the RL for a RDX and get a Hondata reflash...

With this news I won't volunteer, but you can definitely put me on a list of those interested in purchasing this product.

The question that pops into my head is this. Are we talking about an economy reflash or are we talking about a performance increase reflash? I don't know what you are selling here. Please be more specific.

What sort of ballpark increases are you expecting? If we are talking 10 hp, I'm not interested.

I think that more folks would be way more interested in an economy reflash than a performance reflash. If you can make my truck get 24-25 mpg on the highway with a slight loss in performance I'm ALL IN! I'd even shell out the money for any necessary aftermarket parts.

Do you know how any performance increases may affect the transmission? (If that is your aim) It is a well known fact that the transmission won't amply gobble up a bunch of extra power over time without gobbling itself up.

I'm willing to allow for non-destructive testing for both performance and economy (knowing that more specific details of what will be done should be coming) to be done on my truck...but would surely be highly interested in an economy reflash...

He should, if he doesn't & you are seriously interested, please give hondata a call & ask for Doug.

We don't know what the capabilities of a reflash are until we get a test vehicle.

Re: Hondata Reflash - Gauging interest, looking for test vehicle in Torrance, CA

I'm HIGHLY interested in a performance reflash. Would be willing to add an intake to match the test truck, but not exhaust.

Not interested in an economy reflash.

In Seattle, so can't help with the test truck, but put me at the top of the list interest-wise
