Re: Do Not Buy This Product

You better hurry and upgrade quickly. I hear that with the 4.xx releases, you also have to install a new transmogrifier.

Re: Do Not Buy This Product

I don't know about the 4.xz release, but I did purchase a transmogrifier in China a few months ago. I got it cheap and it actually works. I did have to adjust the magnospectrometer slightly. Apparently the threads on the Chinese version are slightly smaller. I found an adapter on ebay. The transmogrifier works by levitating the Ridgeline just enough to reduce the weight on the tires by about 50%. A side benefit is that you have less wear on the tires. A connection is also made to the wipers so that the unit automatically adjusts the vehicle weight during a rain. This of course helps the issue of hydroplaning - a problem I have not experienced out here in the desert.

Will the wiper connection work with Valeo Ultimate Wiper Blades? I just replaced my Stock framed wipers with the Valeo frameless. If the chineese transmogrifier does not work with the Valeo blades, I may have to upgrade the hydrodetection sensor that makes the transmogrifier connection. If not, then I run the risk of disableing the transmogrifier levitation laser output. Which, you obviously know, negates any lift assistance in a hydroplaning situation.

Geez... you would think that Honda would have engineered for this, and made the upgrade process a bit more straight forward.

Re: Do Not Buy This Product

I'm not sure if it will work with the Valeo Ultimate Wiper Blades. The owners manual is in Chinese. Duh!!! There is an email address that you can try. The address on the box is: BuyMyBSCrap@UselessBabble.com.

Good luck - hope this helps.

And lose all the benefits of built-in obsolescence? Just be happy you can upgrade all at. This kind of engineering isn't even available to the rest of the world you know. Do you think flux capacitors grow on trees?

Damn those obsolete flux capacitors of mine. I can't even make it to the year 3000.
