They would have no more issues than a 350hp turbo b series. And as far as the added weight you have to compare it with a stock d series civic with power steering and air conditioning a heavier battery heavier wheels heavy stock exhaust heavier brakes heavier tires a heavier hood ect - so it might not have a major impact when compared to stock and with competent suspension can tune out some forward weight bias.
