Service warning light!!

Does anyone know how to reset the "service due warning light"? My dealer set at it at 12000kms when i took it in for service last time at 6000kms. So now my milege almost at 12000kms and the warning light pops up everytime i start the engine. I would like to change the oil myself this time and wondered how i could reset it or turn it off.

Check your manual, It tells you how. Make sure though no other sevice codes are showing up. If there is, that service should be done also before
resetting the service soon maintenance minder.

Change select setting to "Oil Life". Press reset for 10 seconds. System will prompt - "Reset 'N'' change to 'Y' using select button. Done

The trips only take about 2 seconds to reset so don't give up early!
