VTM-4 fluid replacement -how much did you have left after changing?
I Changed my VTM-4 fluid yesterday ( the B2 service came on) and I drained the fluid ( by removing the drain plug ) and attached a pump ( from Auto Zone ) to a Honda VTM-4 gallon jug and pumped until as much as I added drained out. I have almost 1 quart left in the VTM-4 gallon jug. Is this normal, or does the VTM-4 module need to burp and I am running a quart low.
The manual does not say how much fluid the VTM-4 housing holds. I got 3 quarts in mine. I have about .95 quart left in the gallon jug. Any other Do It Yourselfers have any fluid left? My Ridgeline has been mine for 1 year and 2 days

Page 292 of the manual says it takes 2.79 quarts at change, total capacity is 3.01 quarts. You're good to go.

page 292 is now flagged with a bookmark in my manual - thanks vertrkr
did not relate vtm-4 and differential fluid at the moment, but it is obvious after it is pointed out.

Does anyone know what a jug of this fluid costs? And if you don't want to do it yourself, how much the dealers charge for this service?

Here's a guy on eBay selling a gallon of VTM fluid for $10.99 plus shipping. Check eBay from time to time. I've purchased several gallons for under $10 including shipping.

To take it one step further...
What are the round numbers people are paying for the service from dealers? I don't know if this is a big ticket item, or more like just a simple fluid change? ...and I will thank you for the coming suggestions that I should just do it myself, but there are a few things I know better than to attempt myself - plumbing, electrical work and changing fluids in a car.
