Re: Minor bed scuffs and scratches

I use a $5.00 used furniture pad when I haul stuff to protect the bed. As per a previous post I am a man and I like to keep my truck clean.

It's a truck. Bedliner needs some scratches. I bought a truck to have space to hall and move things. Once the new wears off, it becomes a truck.

A dirty bed is no indication of an unclean truck... Think of it like a restaurant. You need a kitchen to kill and cook the meal and then a nice clean place to serve it. Most days you can eat off the floors of my truck. My bed on the other hand, gets clean, but it looks like I use it. And unless you peek over the top, your not gonna see nuthin!...

Re: Minor bed scuffs and scratches

I tried Mothers back to black. It was too slippery and a bear to apply. I’ve used the black shoe polish trick as well with good results. Now I just hose it down and call it good. It’s a truck.

Re: Minor bed scuffs and scratches

The best solution I've found is to use a light oil.....like baby oil. For my first scratch, I didn't have any baby oil, so I actually used olive oil Worked fine, and hid the scratch for 4 weeks on my new RTL. When the scratch reappeared (I assume the oil dried out), I used baby oil. Hides it really well.
