I didn't buy it since I still have 4 cans of the foaming spray, but the price was the same as the spray can sitting next to it, but had more fluid ounces.

Hopefully, someone here will buy the pump spray type Stoner's and let us know if it's as good as the foam in the can.
I've got both and can't tell much of a difference. However, if you've got an area you need to 'soak' like bugs on the windshield, the areosol seems to stick a little better and doesn't run as much. Side by side on the shelf with the same price, I'd probably grab whichever is closest to me.

Re: how to clean the film off the windows?

We had another sneak attack of indoor window film on our last trip and I had to resort to newsprint (which I always carry) to get it off. I've tried a few different products again. I've found the glass wipes to be worthless making the windows worse instead of better. Stoner's and newsprint gets the film off.

I find a terry cloth wax applicator for the actuall cleaning and a microfiber towel for the drying is the best combination that I have ever used. The applicator makes washing the inside extremely easy.

Re: how to clean the film off the windows?

I use Barkeepers Friend dissolved in water on the windows. It cleans the windows better than any other product I have ever used and actually pulls the dirt out of the pores and scratches in the glass. After that, I reseal the windshield with Rain-X. I have to repeat this process about 3X a year.
