An oldie, but a goodie, John. I'm anxious to hear how it works out for you. I've been satisfied with the other "Ice" products.

Same here.... I don't like how most products end up producing a film on the windows... Let us know if this does the same....

Re: "Turtle Wax Ice" line Product Review

Thanks for the post about this product I have been very happy with other ICE PRODUCTS. I like the 303 for use on the seats & dash ect. but need a good product that is less exspensive for use in other places. This ICE product should be good around the doors door seal area & armrest. It would be good for the bed mat & underseat tray.

Re: "Turtle Wax Ice" line Product Review

After using Meguiar's for years I'm sold on the Turtle Wax "Ice" products. I believe water beads up longer and the ease with which the product goes on and comes off is superb. FYI: Costco currently has a great deal on the liquid wax, detailer, and car wash.

Re: "Turtle Wax Ice" line Product Review

Tried it this weekend on my '06 which I park outside. Although it says its a polish it doesn't appear to have any cleaning or polishing properties. Also and a big caution....in hard water areas you need to make sure you don't have any pre-existing hard water marks - - or - - as a result of the wash just before you start to use this product. In my case I couldn't dry the truck fast enough before I got spots. This product will not take those marks out or other minor imperfections and I ended up finishing the truck with Zymol - - excellent product but a lot more work.

I can see where this could be a great product, but only if your paint surface is completely clean and in relatively good condition.

Re: "Turtle Wax Ice" line Product Review

I have been using the ICE system for about one year. I agree with the points made in the previous post. Get water spots off the truck before applying the ICE polish. The greatest feature of the polish is that it can be applied over trim, chrome and lenses. Using the polish will hopefully retard the graying of plastic and vinyl-like moldings on the truck.

The ICE Liquid Clay Bar is a waste of money. I used it on my wifes Pilot last week, dried the car and applied the ICE Polish. The hood still felt gritty; probably from some overspray from a project during the week. I took out my traditional clay bar and spray lubricant, and with little effort, the hood felt showroom new. Real clay does a significantly better job pulling contaminants out of the clear coat with a lot less effort than ICE Liquid Clay Bar.

Just commentting on the Interior Ice Product. Works very well with a nice shine. It also gives a fresh sent to the Ridge for about a week and a half. I found the shine to dull after about 3 weeks. So not bad I really like this product. It also can be used on the door gaskets and other plastic parts. I will let you know how it stands up on those pieces.

I also have been using the Ice interior product the smell is pretty good. I had to clean a spot on the loaner MDX I had that was on the seat I got happy with it. It made the Suv smell good the loaner was very new with only 1,100 miles but the seat got even softer with the use of this product. The interior was beige like the Ridgeline so this might work pretty god on it. I also used it in my TL & the interior is Ebony in it the shine was not as great but it did okay. The 303 is still a better product but the Ice Interior is not bad at all.

Re: "Turtle Wax Ice" line Product Review

I just wanted to chip in my two cents worth about "ICE"...how is there anything better. I like to experiment, so here are ways I use it...

I hand wash the RL, so I pour 1/4 of a cup of "ICE" into my soap bucket along with a regular old Palmolive lemon dishwash ( the SUDS are great) and mix with water. I get the RL really lathered up hitting the rims too.

After she is dried, the shine alone is enough, but I come back with a little buffer I bought for 20 bucks and glaze a little "ICE" on the sponge and takes me 4 minutes to cover every inch. I come back with two Microfiber clothes and WHA-LA! There you have her...BLACK MENACE! ICE is the best! Mod's coming. Name: My Whip 001.jpg
