Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Experience

Hello all,
This is my first post on the Ridgeline forum. I look forward to the information that can be found here.

Last weekend I bought a 2008 RTL with 2000 miles in Formal Black. Traded in an 05 F150 4WD.

Anyway, I washed and waxed with the Turtle Wax Ice polish today. Wow what a shine. I am really impressed with this product. Easy on, easy off and no white residue.

Re: Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Experience

turtle wax ice is the best **** i have ever used, trust me i have way or i guess i should say had much to time on my hands in high school and i spent $100's if not $1000's on car care products and this is the best stuff i ever seen so white crap all over the car, you can use it in the sun. i have also found black magic rim cleaner and foam tire shine work the best but the rim cleaner fumes are to strong and the tire shine leaves oil stains on the car if theres wind when spraying it on
i might consider buying that kit from turtle wax, not sure

i wax the car the first wash of every summer and the last wash of every summer
i polish EVERY wash
i completely detail the inside of the car EVERY wash

avg time im outside cleaning my car
1 hour 30 minutes

of course this time was for cleaning a nissan murano

The Ice paste wax will last a lot longer than the liquid wax. It does take a tiny bit more effort, but still so much easier than traditional waxes.

When you get scuffs and such, the Liquid Clay bar does work! Almost all of these scuffs came out last night. You have to look to see a couple of pock marks on the trunk. It fully removed the tire mark and the bumper scratches.

Re: Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Experience

Lots of good reports on the Turtle Wax Ice products. Nice to see you've had great results with it. Wonderful to see you have a new Ridgeline! Main thing is, just use something to protect the paint. You'll find tons of recommendations about the "best" wax/polish to use. But as long as you use "something", you'll take care of your RL's paint. Good for you for doing something very quickly to accomplish this. I bought a Formal Black RTL in January, and I've already tried 4 different polishes/waxes on it....along with claying. No matter what you try, your Ridgeline will love you for it. My motto has always been, "Take care of your auto, and it will take care of you." Gongrats on your new Ridgeline! And hey, don't forget the "Search" feature for any topic on Ridgeline ownership you can think of. Welcome to the ROC!

Received all my "goods" mentioned above today. My parents are going out of town for a few days and I'm gonna give my father's 2006 Honda Accord the ICE treatment. If I remember, I'll take some before and after pics to document my expected success. More to come...

I've been using the Ice products for a while now and absolutely love them. The spray detailer works great as well.

Re: Turtle Wax Ice Liquid Experience

The Ice Turtle Wax paste wax does last quite a bit longer than the liquid. Found that out on my wife's Civic. Both look good immediately.

I agree that this Ice product is fantastic.

Having seen how scrapes and brush marks can be taken out of the paint with the clay bar and wax, now all they have to come up with is a product to take out small dents.

The kids took my wife's car to play tennis and it came back with a small ding on top of the trunk. No one knew what happened.
