Sorry I'm just now responding. I appreciate the kind words. My G1 has alway been garaged and caring for it the way I do started out as an experiment just to see if the commitment would ever pay off.

I start out with my leaf blower then fall in with the shop-vac. I also use several different sizes of paint brushes to kick loose sand and dirt. And, every year or so, I disconnect and take out everything I can: battery, battery mount, air filter housing, intake ducts, etc. and wipe down all metal with mineral spirits. Everything plastic and rubber get a good coating of preservative.

Keeping it garaged has been the key. No one among friends and family believed me at the time. But when I said this was the 1st and only time I would ever spend $37K on a G-D truck, I wasn't joking.

Check out this link to a video my son I did featuring our RL:

I have to private message it since the music is copyrighted.

Thought I would view your garage photos, I must say you have one great looking RTL and some great mods....I try to keep mine clean but yours is squeaky clean, motor bay looks super.... I kept mine in garage for first couple of years and then bought my garage queen (S2000) and she kicked the RTL out, have a boat also and it stays in garage also so no room for Ridge....it will take it's toll outside all the time...
