    Yes, that’s what the service rep said. The mystery is what caused the misfiring....they couldn’t find anything wrong, made no repairs, replaced no parts - - gave it back to me and said “call us if it farks up again”.

    From what I could tell, the heat was further towards the mid underbody probably from the catalytic converter, and the smoke was whitish from the exhaust.
