      As I seem to recall somebody suggesting this previously, if that 1/8 inch gap is really causing anybody this much grief, installing something like this across the top of the grill so to make contact with the hood seal should remedy any issues?

      I agree! So why doesn't Honda Engineering design a Seal that works?
