A little more info in response to some questions:
My 2021 RTL-E uses a 9005/HB3 High Beam bulb. It's a dedicated high beam (not used for daytime running lights) which makes things simpler - I am not sure if that's the case for other years / models of Ridgeline. I considered just installing more powerful halogens, but based on my experience with Philips bulbs in my Gen 1 Ridgeline, the higher the power, the shorter the lifespan - I always kept spares in the glovebox as they'd typically last around 1 year.
I chose the GTR Lighting Ultra 2.0 bulbs and I purchased them from Headlight Revolution
(link). I did not do a ton of research other than looking at reviews on the HR site and Amazon. There are a wide variety of 9005 LED bulbs on Amazon, some priced as low as $30-40 compared to $220 for the Ultra 2s (I think I paid a bit less) but I liked the look of the Ultra 2 construction, particularly the single-element LED which seems like it would mimic the filament size and shape of the original halogens best. I was not going for absolute highest light output or a stupidly blue/purple beam, but rather good light output and a beam pattern free of hot spots and shadows. The Ultra 2s seem to provide that. I obviously don't have any feel for longevity as I just installed these - they do carry a lifetime warranty, which I felt was important given that they are fan-cooled.
The construction does seem very good - all metal, well finished, and with provision for clocking (rotating the bulb to sit perfectly horizontally) if needed. They kit includes a couple of extra torx screws and an allen wrench to fit. I didn't need them, but they're in the glove box. The only criticism I had is that the connector does not click solidly into the Honda socket - but it is reasonably tight. When I ziptied the wiring and ballast into place I made sure to orient the connector with the open end downward to keep any water from collecting, but they're in a relatively well-protected spot anyway.
One additional note / reminder: to my knowledge, LED bulbs as replacements for halogens are legal for off-road use only. That said, I've been upgrading headlights for years and never been pulled over or had any issues.
