Brand off LED Hight Beam please
Some folks on this forum say these are plug and play, but I had to file down the tabs a bit for the passenger side fitment on my 2022 RTL-E. Took me 15 mins of sanding and test fitting, but got it to work. Light output is impressive.

      AUXITO brand.

LA Plus Series 9005 HB3 LED bulbs 60W 6000LM 6000K Amplified Flux Beam
A while back, somebody on ROC recommended Auxito. It gets confusing. Series 9005 might be the main thing? 60W vs 80W? LED lumen ratings are notorious for wide variations. What’s a flux amplified beam? Conversion KIT (vs bulbs)? Good Amazon reviews for both and Auxito reviews specifically mention G2 Ridgeline. Still confused. Is there a single best LED high beam solution?

AUXITO 9005 LED Bulbs, Mini Sized, CanBus Ready, 80W 16,000 Lumens 500% Brighter 9005 HB3 LED Light Bulb Conversion Kit, 6500K Xenon White

LASFIT 9005 HB3 LED Bulbs 60W 6000LM Super Bright, 2022 Upgrade 9005 LED Conversion Kits, 6000K Cool White 360 Adjustable Beam, 50000+ Hour Lifespan, IP67, Plug and Play (2 Bulbs)

‘Unless one bought and tested them all it is all hype advertising. I just want something to replace the yellow color temperature halogens in my vehicle now. If they are a bit brighter, that will be a plus.

If those really are 80 watts, I wouldn't use them. Your high beam circuits (fuses, wiring, etc) are rated for 65 watts. Can you get away with it? It seems that you can. But, I wouldn't run the risk.

Are these a simple unplug old. plug in new, close hood?

I’ve had other led bulbs where housing and or wiring had to be modified. These aren’t those, correct?

I just ordered these. Currently $60 with an instant 12% off at checkout.

They’ll be here mid week. I’ll install on a warm day, Then come back with review.

BTW - I did see a positive review on Amazon by someone on this forum. It was for their 2021.

I wish more folks would say what vehicle they install their car/truck products on. Most reviewers give you “squawdoosh” when it comes to vehicle particulars.

A few people on here, myself included, are using these without any issues:

I have these and I’ve noticed that they aren’t both staying on. The passenger side one wasn’t working so I unplugged it and checked everything, when I plugged it back in it was fine but then the driver side started going on and off intermittently. I didn’t have the time to disassemble the air intake to check this one but it was working just fine before I got the other one working again. Could it be an issue with the power draw or something? I’m wondering if I should put the license plate bulbs back to stock, if that could be causing the issue somehow because I remember someone else saying they had an issue with that, or so the Honda tech told them.

Mine light up the night.. if anyone wants a challenge, try and find anything brighter than this.. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WCSJQYC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

2 years ago I spent days looking and couldn't find it. They are still running strong.
A little more info in response to some questions:

My 2021 RTL-E uses a 9005/HB3 High Beam bulb. It's a dedicated high beam (not used for daytime running lights) which makes things simpler - I am not sure if that's the case for other years / models of Ridgeline. I considered just installing more powerful halogens, but based on my experience with Philips bulbs in my Gen 1 Ridgeline, the higher the power, the shorter the lifespan - I always kept spares in the glovebox as they'd typically last around 1 year.

I chose the GTR Lighting Ultra 2.0 bulbs and I purchased them from Headlight Revolution (link). I did not do a ton of research other than looking at reviews on the HR site and Amazon. There are a wide variety of 9005 LED bulbs on Amazon, some priced as low as $30-40 compared to $220 for the Ultra 2s (I think I paid a bit less) but I liked the look of the Ultra 2 construction, particularly the single-element LED which seems like it would mimic the filament size and shape of the original halogens best. I was not going for absolute highest light output or a stupidly blue/purple beam, but rather good light output and a beam pattern free of hot spots and shadows. The Ultra 2s seem to provide that. I obviously don't have any feel for longevity as I just installed these - they do carry a lifetime warranty, which I felt was important given that they are fan-cooled.

The construction does seem very good - all metal, well finished, and with provision for clocking (rotating the bulb to sit perfectly horizontally) if needed. They kit includes a couple of extra torx screws and an allen wrench to fit. I didn't need them, but they're in the glove box. The only criticism I had is that the connector does not click solidly into the Honda socket - but it is reasonably tight. When I ziptied the wiring and ballast into place I made sure to orient the connector with the open end downward to keep any water from collecting, but they're in a relatively well-protected spot anyway.

One additional note / reminder: to my knowledge, LED bulbs as replacements for halogens are legal for off-road use only. That said, I've been upgrading headlights for years and never been pulled over or had any issues.
I dunno man, those 60 dollar LEDS 8000/bulb are twice as bright as the 200+ dollar bulbs 4000/bulb .. try them out and see what happens. I can tell you that it is BRIGHT AS THE SUN infront of the ridgeline over here!!

What LEDs did you go with for the high beams?
Checkout the difference! Here's the Amazon link,,,

Got it from another thread here and glad I did. They are almost too bright sometimes like construction zones or where there are a lot of street signs. The reflection almost blinds me now!
