I had an 07 Ridgeline and the centre armrest stayed in place so firmly that I actually never realized you could slide it. I test drove a used 09 Ridgeline (never bought it) and the centre armrest slide back and forth loosely (that is why I went home and checked my 07 to see if it was moveable)...
