2007 RTL, when do I expect new air bag?

According to NHTSA or DOT my 2007 RTL was to have gotten an airbag by November. Next month I will flunk safety inspection with the airbag light on. What do I do?

Have you talked to your Honda dealer to see where you sit in line? I would think a pending inspection would change your priority in line.

Airbag light on? Wouldn't that indicate a system problem? The recall on actuators isn't a system detected problem, but a lab detected problem. Mine goes in tomorrow for the airbag recall. No lights are on.
Honda provided me with a rental as soon as the drivers side air bag issue came about. Turned in my rental after the drivers side inflator was replaced. I wouldn't drive a vehicle with a drivers side air bag issue.
I'm just north of Seattle and also have an 07. The local dealer, Klein Honda has them in stock and invited me to just come any day at 7am without an appointment and they will have them installed in 1.5 hours.
Hopefully, your local dealer can do the same.
I really think some dealers just do it when the vehicle is in for service.
This is how we got it done this summer took in for service for door actuator/lock causing intermittent battery drain & also had other fluids changed. Service manager said he would replace airbag inflators drivers and passenger at that time.
Dealership parts department called day after work was done & I had just picked up truck an hour before that to say airbag parts where at dealership and to come in to have fixed. I told him they were already fixed day before when in for other service.
Make some noise and the airbag light should not be on anyway.
I live in middle Tennessee and got tired of waiting on the letter from Honda that the airbags are ready in my area. I called the dealer in Murfreesboro Tennessee and the airbags have arrived and have an appointment for next week.

Anyone not yet scheduled, call the dealer and ask. I believe that my area was last in line for the airbags(extreme temps got first priority).
I agree with the other replies. Contact your local dealer and have them order the parts. Mine took about 3-4 weeks to come in. The dealer called me when the parts came in. Don't wait for a notice from Honda Corp. Good Luck

Can you use a code scanner/reader to reset the light before the inspection?
