In 199K miles I’ve chased some front end noises over the years. If the sway bar end links don’t solve your problem and you’re certain the noise is not your struts I would focus my attention to the engine mounts. I’m very particular with my vehicles and an unexplainable noise will cause me to lose sleep. Most of my research pointed toward the front mount being the culprit. My dealership was able to get the passenger side mount quickly but the front mount took much longer. I installed the side mount and it did not eliminate the noise. After installing the front mount all was as new again. Hope this helps.
