If that's the 3.5 then it's sitting in the engine comparment sideways (compared to how it sits in ours now). So it's totally different...Honda ran almost stock versions of the Ridge in the previous ones. The last Ridge to run the Baja, from what I saw had special exhausts, a few simple engine mods, upgraded suspension and tires and that's about it.

IF they put a 2017 RL body 'simulation' on it, it will be our first glimpse of what they G2 Ridge might look like (other than spy pics & the Pilot of course).

... but sadly, my guess is they'll not do that.
So, just imagine, a full-on Baja dune buggy chassis with Honda's twin-turbo 3.5L and the latest greatest iVTM with full sand - control logic! I bet it would be quite competitive!
How many of you remember the Honda Odyssey (the go-cart, not the mini-van)? The 'Desert King' Pilot sounds like a beefed - up version of that.
